DETOXIFICATION AND WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT
Expert and compassionate care from trained doctors and nurses who can help relieve your physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms and intervene in the event of a medical emergency. Blue Cross Blue Shield will generally cover at least some part of your residential detox program to make the process more affordable.
BEHAVIORAL REHAB
Blue Cross Blue Shield covers a wide range of behavioral rehab program types, depending on your specific plan. Options include inpatient, outpatient, Intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP) and others.
MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT
Your Blue Cross Blue Shield drug rehab plan may cover the use of medications, like Suboxone® (buprenorphine and naloxone), Vivitrol® (monthly injectable naltrexone) and Sublocade®. Coverage for medication-assisted treatment will also vary by state and plan type.
